Hot Day at Lake Mead! - BaySport - 08-24-2005
Tuesday 08/23- Hit the water early and was at Las Vegas Wash tossing a net for shad before light. Managed to catch a couple here, a couple there until we had enough to fish with. Started drifting near the entrance to the wash when we noticed lots of bird activity down near hole 33. Up came the lines and off we went! Soon we were tossing shad swimbaits and hauling in stripers. When the action stopped we moved in and fished a couple of nearby points and landed a few more. Another boil occurred around the corner in a different cove. We hit the jackpot there, landing fish after fish. Every angler on the water was catching fish today. What a great morning of fishing! The water was perfect, calm and flat. Returned to the marina by 10 am. Can't wait to do it again!
