Perch Urchin - mktgw - 10-03-2005 I have a question for you Tube Dude. When making your Urchin do you put the prism tape on both sides or just one? Thanks for all you excellent info, your like a fishing god for me!!! Mel Re: [mktgw] Perch Urchin - TubeDude - 10-03-2005 [cool][#0000ff]Hey Mr. M, I appreciate your appreciation. Glad to help.[/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]If I am adding tape to lures, I usually like to make them the same on both sides. The difference is that when you use a lure blank like a Kastmaster, the two sides are different in shape. You have one long surface and one side with a shorter oblong surface. Just treat them as two different lures and cut your tape accordingly. It is easier if both sides of the lure are the same.[/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]I have "writeups" I have put together on just about every aspect of lure making. Here is one on prism tape. #7 in the step by step instructions includes the suggestion for doing both sides.[/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]Also attaching a pic showing some of the two tone prism tape effects on my casting spoons.[/#0000ff] [signature] Re: [TubeDude] Perch Urchin - mktgw - 10-03-2005 Thanks Pat YOUR THE BEST.
