Back to the ducks!!!!! - Jethro - 11-05-2005 Headed out Sat to the refuge.... No one to hunt phesants with....[unsure][unsure] Going to take the wife out and see what flies... I hunt the whole weekend and also Mon, and post what I get... Both days started cloudy then the sun came out and wind stopped... Mon two hunters showed up next to me in 1A and started calling.... High balling at everything with a call that sounded sick... It was windy as all get out... But still managed to get 7 ducks and 2 Snow Geese... Here are the pics.. 5 Greenheads 1 Buck Pintail 1 Widgeon 2 Snow Geese The widgeon came last... I was trying for all greenheads but wind was howling and nothing could land so the widgeon dropped in and he became the 7th duck... I saw one in a truck on Fri afternoon... Going to take the wife out Sat afternoon and see if she can get her swan... I will post after and report on how they are flying... I could have shot all buck pintails in the decoys... If you could shoot 7 pintails.... [signature]
