Tell me how to fix canoe!!! - Jethro - 12-07-2005 I have drug a hole in the tail end of my canoe from hunting in it while I had a broken leg... I have tried epoxy and JB weld and neither worked for long... The JB weld held for most this year but has cracked off now... Any ideas on how to fix it so it won't leak... I use it to duck hunt out of so it has to work in cold temps and be able to be applied to it now... I don't have a garage to put it into, so heat is a problem... Thanks... The only place I found in the state to purchase the proper fiberglass and resin was at 3D art in Kearns. 5165 W 4900 S Kearns, UT 84118 - 6363 (801) 966-1372 They were very helpful in showing me what I needed and how to use the items they sold me. When you call or stop in ask to talk to some on about material need to fix a boat. I suggest that you call for directions first they are a little hard to find. I took several pictures printed on 8 X 11 papers which really helped. [signature] Re: [hpb] Tell me how to fix canoe!!! - Jethro - 12-08-2005 Sorry the canoe is made of plastic... Would fiberglass cure in the temps we are having?? I am sure though that if you search you can find the components a little cheaper. [signature] Re: [hpb] Tell me how to fix canoe!!! - Jethro - 12-09-2005 Thanks..
