Mepps giant minnow - DanielJRioux - 01-19-2006 Has anyone used the Mepps giant minnow lure? It is expensive, 14.00, but I wonder how it would do on wipers. However, as most wiper chasers soon find out, the hot lure one day can be worthless the next day...or even later on the same day. Those would be worth keeping in your tackle box. You can find them on several websites for under $10. Filled them full of scent and dragged them around. I caught nothing. As a note, I never do well trolling for Macks. I have tried them a few times trolling, including at Willard, and I have yet to catch a fish on them. [signature]
