?Inboard Cold Weather - cadresults - 03-21-2006 As some of you know I have been looking for a boat to purchase. I have looked at hundreds of boats. I was really looking to go with an outboard. The reason; I plan on using it for fish and skiing. I wasn't really interested in having to "winterize" after each cold weather fishing trip at bear lake. So here is my question: Do any of you fish with an inboard during the winter months, in freezing weather? If so, is it a pain to maintain after each trip? Would you ever consider an inboard for winter fishing? The reason I ask this is that I have found some really good inboards for sale. Outboards have been difficult. As always, thanks for your help. My first boat was an inboard and it took me an entire day to winterize it. Mine is a custom weld with a 350 vortec self contained all I do is pull it out of the water the water runs out the jet and I'm done. Bodine [signature] |
