bubble up - jekern1015 - 03-23-2006
We fished the area around the bubble up today from a little after noon untill 4. We had no bites wich mean we had no hook-ups either. The first 2 hours were fairly nice then that cold north wind brought on the white caps. Fishing we were, catching we were not. We tried several colors and styles of jigs. The water temp on the finder said 45 but I personally think that was a little warm, like air temp not water temp. We will head down to lincon tomorrow and try our luck there and bird island.

I stopped at Lincoln today from 4-6:30. No bites, nibbles, not even a "ooh, I think I just got a bite!" pretty windy and a cold wind it was.

[cool]THanks for the report. Were you at least MARKING a lot of fish in the bubble up area? How deep is the water around there this year? Good luck at Lincoln. I'm headed to UL this Saturday but not sure yet on Lindon or Lincoln.
