[size 2][size 1]The lake record for Lightning Trout wasn't just broken at Santa Ana River Lakes this past week, it was crushed. Gus Torrealba of Cerritos landed a 20-pound Lightning while fishing with Strawberry Crave Bait on Saturday. The old record, [/size][size 1]set last March by Charlie Lee of Santa Ana, was 15.6-pounds. Torrealba's trout was more than 35 percent bigger. [/size]
[size 1]Torrealba is no stranger to big trout at SARL. He landed the second largest rainbow ever caught at the lake at 25.1 pounds, so landing the 20-pound [/size][size 1]Lightning record wasn't a new experience for the lake regular. [/size][/size]
