Thats why I've been adding sta-bil or other stableizers to each time I get gas. Good for the country, nasty for our boats.

you got that right!,the fishermen has a artical about the new gas,i will be posting it when i have alittle more time.this stuff is scary,it has a faster evaporation rate which in ture causes more smog,this stiff is no better for the enviorment than the other gass,its just helping the farmers

you realy need to add that stableizer to every tank of gass you put in your car. especialy if you experience short muffler life. less millage per tank
I have seen gass evaporate out of a tank while driving down the road. the lead in the foot makes you press down further on the peddle to accomidate for the lower burn.
When I add stabelizer I can keep gas in the tank for a couple years and just add a little fresh with out draining it and it works fine, you wouldnt even know the gas in the tank was a couple years old... " I use oil mix with stablizer already in it"
I live in michigan, "the detroit area" we have a down wind law in affect "traid wind blowing in to canada" so we have a higer ethenol level than the rest of the state or country. when we get good gas my truck runs forever on a tank. when gas prices are 3-4 dollars per gallon you would think they would have added the stableizer for ya and have it pumped and windows washed and radiator filled.... and my dog walked.....
