Sparky, my tube and I at Mantua 8/8/06 - leaky - 08-08-2006
Well, ------------------, we had a fun day. No blues. We targeted LM's. Caught 30+. Only caught 2 over 12 in. including this guy but fun, fun, fun. [
] Got on the water with Spark and my tube about 10 am and off about 3:30. Might have learned a little about em, we'll see. As usual, the big guys when hooked go right to the weeds and usually rub the lure off in the weeds. Not this time, thanks to circle hooks. Had to struggle and finesse him out but got him (6# line). Used my standard dark reaaper, weedless, with a small split shot. Leaky

Nice job. I've only fished there once, in a tube, on a Saturday. Lots of skiiers. How is the level of traffic on the weekdays? Also, which part of the lake did you fish if you don't mind me asking?

No skiers today, very few an weeKdays. I was on the East side off the mountain /point.
