Two Pole license question - iconoclasticPaul - 10-27-2006 I heard a rumor that DWR passed this thing at a recent RAC meeting, and I tried to find this information on the DWR site and there was none... Is it true that 2 pole licenses are honored at all Utah waters? When does this go into effect? Thanks for helping me get updated! I am excited about this change, and have always wanted to use two poles at Deer Creek (this saturday hopefully...) [signature] Re: [iconoclasticPaul] Two Pole license question - tlspyder13 - 10-27-2006 The new rules go into effect Jan 1 2007 as has already been posted but I have a question about kids. Will kids under 12 have to buy a second pole permit or will they just need to be with someone who has one? Wish I would have thought of the question at the RAC meeting but not that quick I guess. [signature] Re: [tlspyder13] Two Pole license question - wiperhunter2 - 10-28-2006 It's not likely they will let kids fish with a second pole without buying the two pole permit, it's all about the money but I don't know that for sure. Better double check the proc. A more correct statement is, until January 1, 2007 there are only a few lakes or reservoirs that do allow a Second Pole. [signature] |
