PVC Rod holders - Troll - 01-30-2007 I was looking for a way to have my rods at the ready but easy to transport and inspired by Tubedudes use of PVC this is what I came with. I used 1" thin wall pipe for the tubing and a few T's, 90 degree elbows and a couple of 45 degree elbows. I will add a couple more 45's. The fittings are the same, but the thin wall has an inside diameter that is larger. My cork and taped handles would have not fit into the thich wall tube and I would have not been able to use tubing as rod holders. As it turns out, a 45 elbow with a 4" piece of tube sitting on top if a 15" riser makes a perfect adjustable rod holder. (pic. 3) [signature] Re: [Troll] PVC Rod holders - Bigcat - 01-31-2007 thanks! I may glue the 90 degree elbows at the back corner but that would be all, I like being able to lean the uprights to get the line over the hole. Thanks for editing my pics. I'm trying. It turned out that it works as a great rod holder.
