Anyone tried Soldier Creek lately? I'm thinking of going up there next weekend and was wondering if it would be worth it.

we went up last weekend and caught 8 between 3 of us. mostly earlier in the morning. mostly jigging ,and a couple on power bait. we were in about 25 - 30 feet and the ice is well over a foot thick.

we were around the first parking lot once you go south on the road going to the dam.

I've also heard that in about 20 ft of water about 400 yards out along the south bank the cutts have been pretty active. black beatles and homemade jigs have worked good for us in the past.
