Grand Junction - proline - 02-20-2007 Are there any fishing spots by Grand junction? [signature] Re: [proline] Grand Junction - DonInDenver - 02-20-2007 There's a lot of good water in that area. What do you want to fish for? Lake or river? Warm water or cold? [signature] Re: [DonInDenver] Grand Junction - proline - 02-20-2007 It doesnt matter. I am in salt lake right now. I fish everything from tiger muskies to walleye to bass to trout and blah blah. I just love to fish. I really love the pike and misky but I hardly doubt any of those exist around there. I can fish rivers or lakes equally. [signature] Re: [proline] Grand Junction - DonInDenver - 02-20-2007 Rifle Gap, Harvey Gap, and Crawfurd all have pike. The Yampa River is a great pike and smallmouth fishery in places. The Grand Mesa is covered with trout lakes and the Gunnison River isn't far, neither nis the cold water fishery on the Colorado. More water than you can fish! But, alas, no muskies on the western slope. [signature] Re: [DonInDenver] Grand Junction - proline - 02-20-2007 Thanks for the info. Do the pike get to a decent size?
