Vetavisit 2007, the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine's annual open house,
will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Free admission,
no need to register, and all exhibits are age-appropriate for all ages. Plan
a minimum of three hours to tour. Box lunches will be for sale from 11 a.m.
- 2 p.m. Veterinary merchandise will be on sale.
The public is invited to tour the Veterinary Medical Center and learn about
the state-of-the-art facilities and amazing programs. CVM students, faculty,
and staff will introduce you to the professionals, animals, and technology
that make up one of the most exciting professions in the world.
Students interested in a carreer in veterinary medicine will want to attend
the undergraduate advisor's lecture.
Some of the special events include a teddy bear surgery clinic, canine
agility, equine dressage, equine treadmill demos, milk-a-cow, run through
the artery tunnel, look at bugs under a microscope, face painting, and much
more.
The Vetavisit website will be updated in March will a listing of all of the
exhibits, demos, lectures, and other special events. Guests will receive an
itinerary when the arrive.
