Hi all,
I am an outsider to the state of Washington. My two favorite fishing trips however were to your wonderful state and I spend a lot of time on business there. I am wondering if anyone can tell me some places for Flyfishing for the steelies in the summertime. I have fished the Cowlitz with a guide but I would be more than willing to trade someone a trip for a trip. I live in Utah and would trade a great steelhead trip for a lodge trip to an Orvis destination lodge here in Utah. The fish aren't nearly as big but there is a lot of dry fly action during the spring and fall. I haven't caught a fresh steelhead in 10 years but I still dream of them every night.
