Carp on the fly - buckdawg - 03-24-2007

I know this is in the wrong forum but I know how much zonker loves his carp on the fly!!!

In-fisherman this morning had a segment about catching carp on the fly and I thought of him! Looks like a lot of fun!!!

[cool]Hey hey, Buckdawg. You got that right. I like catching carpskis.

I have a full day of work ahead so won't likely catch the In-Fisherman program. I do appreciate the heads-up.

[black][size 3]Caught my first bunch last week and they are addicting. Not as tuff as I expected (to hook them that is, the carp can fight), in fact I was sure I would get skunked, but think Haresear with rubber legs![/size][/black]

Here's a little thing that carp can do when you hook a good one.

[shocked]Holy Cow!

I used to fish for carp on a spinning outfit using "Wheatie" balls on a trebel hook for bait. They are a blast to catch. I actually had lost a rod & reel to one when I was foolish enough to walk away and was not paying any attention.
