Orvis Float Tube Fins - JDFreud - 07-03-2007 Does anyone own or use the Orvis Float tube fins? Is so, how do you like them? Some on the site are using hot spot fins and really like them. Others like myself are happy with dive fins. I will say I have another pair similar to them and I let a friend use them in the H3 and she had no problems at all, so I will add it depends on what kind of tube you have. Toon it doesn't much matter with the oars and specially with a motor cause they are for steering only. But for hard core tubing....look at the scubba fins. Cheap and really move the water. If I didn't have Force Fins, I would have the Scubba's. p.s. the felt will wear out on them. That is why I agreed with the scubba. As far as cheaper fins go, I spent $139. on mine so they are all cheaper LOL. TD mentioned some good deals on the Scubba fins in earlier posts.
