nelle 7-11, my best smallie - Andymansavage - 07-12-2007
We fished the 'nelle again wed morning. The rock cliff arm was slow so we cruised the lake hitting all likely spots along the way. We boated 50 or so fish, with about a 3 to 1 bass/perch ratio. I caught my biggest smallmouth, those suckers can fight! All my fish were on crankbaits.

Rapala JSR-5 jointed shad-rap in baby bass and perch colors. Cast right against shore and structure and retrieved SLOWLY with several pauses. JSR-3 is too shallow and JSR-7 dove too deep.

catch a bass with a net.
I was not kidding about the report. 50 fish is as good as I have seen. However, I do not want to take away from your thread so I will remove it. Thanks for the pic's.
