Helena, MT - orvy - 08-15-2007 I'm heading to Helena for the weekend and would like to go fishing while I'm there, anyone here know of anyplace close to do some flylishing? Thanks [signature] Re: [orvy] Helena, MT - Tarponjim - 08-15-2007 The Missouri River a half-hour north of Helena between Wolf Creek and Craig. Its a 10+++ if you like to toss flies at river trout. Great hatches, easy access, and good-sized fish if your presentation is good. The only negative is the crowds, but the river is loaded with trout, and you don't need much water. Good luck. WH2 [signature] Re: [wiperhunter2] Helena, MT - orvy - 08-16-2007 thanks guys. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pics when I get home. [signature] |
