Berkeley Rods - Simp - 08-29-2007 alright. after fishing the other day where one cast in both lines (brand new line) snapped, i have dsecided to take a break from fishing. i just havent had any desire to do it since, when i feel like it again i definately will. but this is about a new rod. i saw a berkeley rod today in wal mart, it was graphite, and rated for 8-12lb trilene (it specified trilene). so does anyone have anything to say about those rods? they're relatively cheap--i think. the rack it was on had ugly stik price tags...but when i do decicde to go fishin again, i wanna have some half decent equipment that will help me out. They have held up for close to 7 years now.[cool] [signature] Re: [Simp] Berkeley Rods - bassngal - 08-29-2007 [cool] I have a berkley pistol grip and a trigger grip rod and have had them for 7 or 8 years. They are very good rods for the price. [signature] Re: [bassngal] Berkeley Rods - Simp - 08-29-2007 well then. i will definitely consider that rod... [signature] |
