Roughin' it Outdoors - AFDan52 - 11-25-2007

I watched the " SALSA BOYS " show last night, Man, what a great job Adam did with that. Thank you to everyone that participated that weekend. Can't wait for the next one, it's always a great time fishing Bear lake good or bad.
I am looking forward to ice fishing up there this year, I have a new Graphite Lake trout Rod that I am going to try. Well Old Coot Thank you for making that day in November a special one, Good job my friend.

[font "Comic Sans MS"][size 2][#002850]Yea, Adam and his editors sure did a good job. I'm glad he left out 98% of what I said. Had he not, I would have been pretty embarrased by now. [Tongue]

As for ice fishing the Bear this year, I wouldn't count on it. I really don't think it's going to freeze over this year.[unsure]

Well if that is going to be the case , maybe i might need to get my boat back in condition again. That would only take a few minutes.

Ralph is right, in a ten year period of time it is very unusual for the Bear to freeze more than 2 or 3 times. We have already had it freeze at least that many times in recent years. You never know though, if we get enough cold weather it could happen but it would be at least Jan.

The Salsa Boys Rocked!
And what a great plug for BFT.
How many new lurkers do we have today?
OK, don't just lurk, sign up and join the party!

Congrats to all who caught fish, it looked like a lot of fun. I think I will unwinterize the boat and reslip it for another month. I pulled it out after getting not only skunked but pulled up the biggest rock off the rockpile scott says hes ever seen (about 35 pounder)

Welcome to the site Lutefisk, we are looking forward to reading your first fishing post. Always good to have another guy that lives at Garden city on the site. I hope you don't mind getting some questions about the weather up there from time to time[Wink]. WH2

Good to see that you had a nice turnout and they did do a good plug for BFT, especially when showing the prizes. See if you give prizes away good things happen. I should have went there with my tiny boat instead of donating my money to make wendover greener.
