2 great trips for Christmas - TDOG - 12-30-2007
Well we have made 2 trips recently, so I thought I would kill 2 stripers with one post. We (me and my two 9 year old boys) headed out about 7:30 am on Christmas Eve. Beautiful day on the lake. Water like glass, no wind, and warm. Fished the 33 spot untill about 2 pm with no fish. Headed up to our secret honey hole just a little south of Callville. Hit 17 stripers in an hours time (1-3 lbs) with one 5 pounder landed by one of my boys. Unfortunately we forgot the camera that trip. But we did bring it yesterday. Me and my youngest headed out about the same time. Same conditions, and went directly to the honey hole. Knocked down 27 by lunch time, and headed home on glassy water. We got a couple of pics but most fish were 1-3 lbs. Turned them all loose for another day.
