wheelin instead of ice fishing - ironworker - 02-11-2008
decided to go wheelin instead of ice fishing today. man what a day.
we went out by pony express road in toole county and road over the mountain. rode for about 3 to 4 hours and about 40 miles or so. it must have been at least 40 to 45 degrees out with no w---. here are a couple of pictures.

hey bee. how's the house coming.
there was about 6 to 8 inches in most spots. then there are the drifts. anywhere from one foot to three.

Just remember to not push the deer or elk. They need all the help they can get this year. I love to shed hunt but I think I am going to wait until the snow melts more so that I will not harm the deer.

I understand what your saying im in the dedicated hunter program and i have been getting E-mails about helping feed the deer its defenitly a hard year for them there shouldnt be much snow where im heading

do you go out west to look for sheds? the way the weather is going there shouldn't be hardly any snow left. good luck to ya, find some good ones.

[cool]I went up by my house on the wheeler seen a bunch of decent bucks with both antlers still and i also seen some with one side this place is close enough to go after work so if you are interested in looking at some good bucks let me know
