Fishing spots around Colorado Springs - majnmike - 02-16-2008
Hello,
we are wondering where there might be some good fishing spots this time of year in or around Colorado Springs. We want to go Monday but know there are alot of lakes iced over. Can anyone help?
We have kids 8 and 10 and trout works good but will fish for other types.

I am not sure if there is any open water in the springs. I am up in the Denver area and ice is on every body of water that I know of, some have pumps in the water to keep it from freezing over but there is still thin ice on the shore lines. Try calling or contacting the Colorado Division Of Wildlife.
