Maybe thats why they were not biting. I fished the point and the fish would come around frequently. We ended up catching our limits. This leaves the shoreline with wet, slushy ice. Warm afternoons make things worse. Try to get out on safe ice in shallow areas -- that way if you go in, you don't go very far in!
