I was woundering if Spring is too early to catch catfish. And if it is too early what time of year is the best time to catch them?

They are starting to catch a few here in Utah in between all the storms.

There is no off season in regards to catfishing. Something is always biting; either channels, blues, or flatheads. Right now, the big blues are hot here in SC. Wateree and Santee Cooper both are producing some nice fish.
