OK... so I went walleye fishing the other day. While wading out to my spot my walking stick hit something that seemed to move out in front of me. I tapped around a bit and then I felt something hit it pretty good. I pulled my stick up and right there holding onto the end of it was a little snapping turtle. After a few seconds it let go and went on it's way.
Sure am glad it hit the stick and not my boot !
Fishing was slow. No walleye but I did manage a bluegill, couple small bass and a nice size channel cat.
