The fishing gods hate me - Majja - 05-16-2008
So i talk my wife into a KP for tomorrow as we have to go plant flowers at her grandmas house on Sunday. Any way I start planning out the great day at one of my local lakes. Well I have to be home at 445 so I am not wanting to go to far so it was either Yuba or Pineview and settle on Piney.
Well so much for that with the road closes for the Ogden Marathon
Jordanelle has the on water boat show tomorrow
Yuba has a small tourney and is destine to have a bunch of Power squadron folk.
Willard Same as Yuba.
So where to go. Maybe i will get up real early and head to Scofield as I have never fished it.

Dont think yuba will be over run with tourney guys theres plenty of places to fish plus you can learn some secret spots from these guys . [

Hardly anyone out on Yuba today, but the campers were rolling in as we left. Water is still pretty chilly for skiers, etc. I'm sure, either way, you will do better than we did today. The scent of skunk is strong.
