Name That Water - Kayote - 05-02-2003 Can anyone name this water? Hints: It's a warmwater fishery, it's a public fishery and it's in the Basin. Curtisfish, just send a PM cuz I know you know this one. Anyone else care to make a guess. Come on, I'm just having fun and testing the knowledge base of all you old Utah salts. But this could be anywhere... Let me put down some monetary value on this... it could be Deer Creek a few years ago before the water level dropped off, in the Wallsburg bay on the south side in the trees/brushes. I want to note something else. From the looks of the photo and seeing the structures sticking out of the water, it could be a prime bluegill/bass habitat. Big Montez, above it, had five pound largemouth till the water company drained it last year. It's a sweet little float tube spot. Impossible to launch regular boats. It has Russian olives sunk throughout for structure.
