Anyone out there who can explain the Huricanes logo? Kinda looks like the Letter U split in the middle,orange on one side green on the other.

They are commonly referred to as the "U".

The letter U is for University. The green and orange is for the color of an orange tree. Don't know why they went with U, not like every other University doesn't also have it in it's name.

Kind of reminds me of the "N" that Nebraska uses.. It stands for "Nowledge"[laugh]

You really cant draw a hurricane on the helmet it just dont look right kinda like a fat tornado. Been to many UM games all they can do is have sebastian the mascot do naughty things like turn the arrow that FSU plants in the middle of the field he sprays it with an extinguisher when he can get away with it.I miss the orange bowl. [frown]
