No. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but a buzzbait has a propeller instead of willow or colorado blades. Buzzbaits are more of a topwater bait and rely more on noise than flash or vibration to attract fish.

Hey Jason...I googled both and I always thought the buzzbait was a torpedo type thing, but this is what resulted from my search.

There is quite a difference as you can see.

Spinnerbaits were designed for sub surface use. Buzz baits for topwater and Chatterbaits are also for topwater.[cool]
