Leftover controlled hunt tags on sale July 1 - FishNews - 06-28-2008
Just under 500 leftover deer and elk controlled hunt tags go on sale 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1 at point of sale agents and ODFW offices. These usually sell out in minutes so be there early for your shot at a leftover tag.
<br>Controlled hunt results are available online. Remember you must purchase your tag no later than the day before the hunt begins for most big game hunts. October 3 is the tag sale deadline for cougar, bear and Western Oregon general deer rifle seasons.
