Salmon River - gdn443 - 07-13-2008 [size 2]Started at 5:30 with temps at 80. Went up the river to the end of the big bay and got a small striper about 8"on a popper , new record for me. We decided to fish the east side and I grabbed a 9" smallie trolling to the new spot. Sammy Pointer gets me a perch in the 8-9" range. I'm on a roll now. Headed to seldon pond where Bob picked up a 2 lber on a senco. Great day to be out, but it is the dog days of summer already. Hopefully the lower ct river will heat up soon. Fluke are still 20-1 on keepers.[/size] [signature] Re: [gdn443] Salmon River - tomc - 07-14-2008 NICE DAY[]looks like the 2nd heatwave of 2008 is comming for this weekend.one of these days i will get out.i think my fishing gear is going into a depression[frown] [signature] Re: [tomc] Salmon River - gdn443 - 07-17-2008 We'll hook up in late Aug or sept. for some thames river action.
