Causey the last 4 days! - lunkerhunter2 - 08-05-2008 Been fishing Causey the last 4 nights with tremendous success on RMT gear all over the lake. Caught fish as long as 18 1/2". Some of the fish are already almost completely red but still great eating. I took an idea from Dale(DKSR enegade) and use a 3/16" poly rope tied to 8# weights for downriggers and it works great for small boats. The launching is a pain but well worth it. Here are some pics. There were 5 small tinners up there last night and my boat was the only one with fish in it.[] [signature] Re: [lunkerhunter2] Causey the last 4 days! - FISHAMANIAC801 - 08-05-2008 Yeah i saw the same thing a couple weeks back too.. lots o bank tanglers a few tooners and very little fish bein caught.. How do you make that 8 lb weight work with the poly cord ?? sounds okee but interesting.. Also did you see any bigger fish on your finder in the dam area ?? Thanks again man i appreciate good reports an nice pix as well..[] [signature] Re: [lunkerhunter2] Causey the last 4 days! - bassbugn - 08-06-2008 Sounds really fun Brody, I want to try if I can sneak away. Which part of the lake were they in and how deep? Any pointers on what to use. You can pm me if you need to. I will probably be vertical jigging from my pontoon.
