channel cat - icefool - 05-11-2003 We haded out to our favorite carp spot and was doing quite . When all of a sudden my grandson hook something that was fighting pretty good but not like a carp. He got it to the bank and low and behold it was a 4lb. 23inch channel cat. We have caught a few channels out there but nothing even close to this one. Boy did he have a grin on his face. He could tie a hook on before he could tie his shoes. But I can't take the credit for his fishng ability, my son-in-law has taught him and myself everything we know about fishing. He is a hunter and fisherman. As for the spot we go fishing, I am not allowed to disclose the spot. Sorry but I am sure we all have a spot we want to keep quiet about. I did get a picture and when I get them developed I will try to figure out how to post [signature] |
