It doesn't have the red eye and has almost the same shape as a Blue Gill. I have caught Warmouth in your state and they have a red eye. Here is a Warmouth: Here is the Northern Rock Bass: Here is a Green Sunfish: All three of these have a thumbable sized mouth but only the Warmouth has the red eye.[cool] [signature] Re: [tubeN2] cant figure out what this fish was - hunter_man9k - 08-12-2008 thanks i think it might be the rock bass do you know a good bait for them i was using corn when i caught em [signature] Re: [hunter_man9k] cant figure out what this fish was - tubeN2 - 08-12-2008 One of the easiest baits for them is Baby Nightcrawlers or use about 1/2 of a normal sized Nightcrawler. Put that about 2 feet under a bobber and wait for the pull. You may also have access to Mealworms or Waxworms. They should also work.[cool] [signature] |
