Hi everyone! Just want to say hello. I love to fish in Southern Utah. I believe Utah has some of the best fishing and [size 1]Scenery[/size] in the nation. I am planning a trip to Utah with my friend Southernman in a couple of weeks. I hope to catch some fish, have a great time, enjoy the area,

I hope all the UTAH BFT members will join me in welcoming nighthawk to the boards! He loves all kinds of fishin' He's shown hundreds of kids how to fish in his role as a scouter, and mentor to youth . .and he's a teamster to boot!

Welcome nighthawk. I know what you mean about teaching kids to fiah.I have a grandson who is 8 and a grandaughter who is 4. My grandson has been fishing with us since he was 4 and we have just started taking my grandaughter with us. I think it is important to teach the next generation about our wildlife and how to protect it for further generations to come. And catching fish in the mean time is a plus.

Thanks Icefool, I agree with you on teaching the next generation. I do this by helping Boy Scouts learn to fish. When my grandson moves back to my area you will be seeing him with me.
