Turtle Creek Cats - robert0720 - 08-09-2001

Anyone know anything about Turtle Creek getting over-run with catfish. I read an article in Field and Stream that said the DNR is thinking about lifting the bag limits because the Channel Cat population has exploded. They say that there are plenty of large ones as well as an abundance of good eating size (10 - 14 inches) cats and plenty even smaller. Leading them to believe that there is a potential for plenty of cats in the future. They are now concerned that having so many catfish will adversly affect the Bass population.
