Well I guess that I will be the judge of that statement.[/#008000] [#008000][/#008000] [#800000]Dry Flies:[/#800000] [#800000]Parachute Adams #12[/#800000] [#800000]Elk Hair Caddis #14-16[/#800000] [#800000]Stimulator #12 [/#800000] [#800000]Madam X #10-12 [/#800000] [#800000]Royal Wulff #12 [/#800000] [#800000] [/#800000][#800000] [/#800000] [#800000]Nymph Flies:[/#800000] [#800000]Pheasant Tail Nymph #14-18[/#800000] [#800000]Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear #14-18[/#800000] [#800000]Kern Emerger #12-18[/#800000] [#800000]Prince Nymph #14-18[/#800000] [#800000]Black Rubberleg Stonefly Nymph #8-10[/#800000] [#800000]Bird's Stonefly Nymph #8-10[/#800000] [#800000]Copper John, Black #18-22[/#800000] [#800000] [/#800000][#800000] [/#800000] [#800000]Streamer Flies:[/#800000] [#800000]Muddler Minnow #8-10[/#800000] [#800000]Woolly Bugger, Black or Olive #8-10 [/#800000] [#800000][/#800000] [signature] Re: [Dryrod] Kern River flies - macfly55 - 09-18-2008 man that is a lot of fly boxes to carry.. :-) MacFly [cool] [signature] Re: [Dryrod] Kern River flies - tubeN2 - 09-18-2008 That is a big selection. I can help you keep the inventory down by telling you the 3 most useful from your list. Royal Wulff, Birds Stonefly Nymph, and Olive Wooley Bugger. Those are the only 3 that have produced for me on just about any time of the year over there.[cool] [signature] Re: [tubeN2] Kern River flies - Dryrod - 09-18-2008 [#008000]While I have tied most of the flies that were listed, I haven't tied nor have any Birds Stonefly Nymphs. Since that is one that you recommend TN2, I did a Google Image search of the BSN and interestingly enough in additions to several versions of the fly that were shown but also a map out lining the Kern River. Guess that I will have to tie a few since MacFly has yet to volunteer his services. Just kidding my friend.[/#008000] [signature] Re: [Dryrod] Kern River flies - macfly55 - 09-18-2008 hey Im having problems figuring out white/grey/blond or black for the griffiths..
