Northern Hardscrabble Cow Tag - BigBassaholic - 09-25-2008
One of the guys I work with has this tag and is wondering if anyone knows a good spot he can get a cow elk without alot of humping. Anyone got any good info...
Hunt time-frame is: Nov 15-30th

On a serious note, I have heard that CWMU is terrible.
I have heard a lot of people go home empty handed and were very
about the experience. It's a steep rugged nasty place too, horses are a must. I will send you a PM with some more info

I just talked to the land owner and he does not have the dates yet or the slips to give out. He has my number and will call me as soon as he gets them... I have 5 tags reserved, he did tell me that all the other tags are gone. I tried to get one for another guy but he said they were gone the day after I talked to him last... So we got lucky and got 5 of the 15 tags... I will just pay him for them and then we can meet and get the tags..... I will call you when I get them..

I hear the guy up there, Fred, isn't the most helpful man around. I've met him before, and have no problem with him, but I haven't hunted with him either. There isn't a ton of elk on that side...but they are around.

I know a guy that has some dep vouchers for does $45.00 a piece for the northern utah area
