I had a collared swan today well within range but didn't draw a tag this year! I haven't seen one in about 6-7 years and never have had one within range. It had a blue collar. What a sight.

I was checking some ground in west Ogden to see if the geese have moved in yet. No geese but about 100 swans and 500 ducks on the pond. I didn't even take my gun out of the case( I had the little ones with me). The swan was only 20 yards away swimming. I got the #'s off his collar and sent it in. It could take months to find out was the response I got.

Just an update. Received the info on the collar and it was banded in 2007 in the Yukon Delta NWR, Tuluksak, Alaska.
