Sturgeon reel question - basskikker - 12-06-2008

i am thinking about getting the penn senator 113H or 114H, and i am wondering how it casts. i use the penn 330 a lot and can cast out alright with it, but i have many sturgeon spool me with the 330. the senator holds a lot more line so i was thinking about getting it. any info on how it casts would be great.
thanks

never casted one of those reels but the look lke they are built like the 309 with no level wind. and they cast smooth. let me know if you get one. i was looking at 114 my self. the 113 hold about the same amount of line i think.

yah i got the 114h, it holds 400 yards of 60lb test. it has a great drag system. it is a bit difficult for me to cast because i have small hands and cant put my thumb on the spool because of its size, so the 113h may have been a better bet. but i love it! i can still cast it about 70-80 yards and if you have larger hands, i bet you could cast it a lot longer.
