changing steering - tailgrabber - 12-18-2008 I just picked up a project boat a tracker panfish 16.5. The boat is laid out with a seat in front and one in back with the controls up in the front. Also uses stick steering instead of a steering wheel. I want to set it up like a bass boat with a side console closer to the back of the boat. Will I still be able to use the cables on the boat or will I have to get shorter ones. Also will they be able to hook up to a steering wheel? What about the controls will they need to be shortened as well? [signature] Re: [tailgrabber] changing steering - tomc - 12-20-2008 you dont really have to, you would have to coil them up.i would get shorter one just so you dont have to deal with the coils,it makes a neater job [signature] |
