Fished Schofield this morning everybody flaked on me so solo'ed it out. Got there about 10:30 am crazy wind about 10 to 15 mph. Blewout one of the poles out of my tent [crazy] (quickfish3) First time in a while I had to tie it down to the ice. Amazing how easy those ice stakes went into the ice. [cool]
Ice was 8 inches or more with about 4 inches of slush on top tried to measure the ice with my ladel handle, entire ladel went into the water Im guessing the ladel is about 8 inches or more.
Because of the wind didn't feel like moving around allot Anchored near the dam about 30 to 40 feet from the shore.
Fishing was slooooow had a few bites here and there but no hooks ups A small schooll of tigers came through aroung 2:00pm and both my poles went crazy hooked 3 tigers in the slot all C&R
Next wave came about 3:30 was fast and furious must of been a minnow convention cause all were in the size of about 12 inches or smaller. It was crazy fun though
as soon as I drop one pole the other went crazy too bad they weren't bigger fun none the less. [
