With a 2wd, watch were you park. The ice is a clear and very slick 6+ inches. No idea on the drive time. Get off at the little town of Mountain Green and go up over the hill on the Trappers Loop highway ( hwy 167 I think towards Powder Mtn Ski Resort) and it will drop you off right at pineview about mid lake. There is a small gas station at the turnoff in Mountain Green just east of the Church. That is the quickest way to go. Avoid going into Ogden and up Ogden Canyon. The drive will probably take you about 1.5 hrs from Provo if you go the Trappers Loop way and over 2 hours if you go into Ogden. I've driven it in 45 minutes from Salt Lake. The next left will take you out on to Cemetary Point. Most have been fishing off the North side of the point. Move around until you find fish, and when you do, stay put.
