Virgin River Fishing - crikfisher - 01-27-2009

As PBH mentioned, fishing the Virgin River in the main part of the park is not very effective. However, if you hike up the Narrows about six miles to the areas where Kolob Creek and Deep Creek empty into the Virgin River, there is a population of small trout (browns, cuts, and a few rainbows). If you are going to hike the Narrows, it might be worth it to pack the rod, but if you are just looking for a fishing opportunity, it is a lot of effort for smaller trout.

Enjoy!
