Carp Fishing - Grant_Rogers - 01-27-2009 I was in Ohio this weekend and I heard amazing stories about the carp when the weather gets warm. I was in the Mineral Ridge/ Warren area. What other kind of fishing do you guys have out there? Depending on what you like from the rivers' streams, and reservoirs. Times of year and targeted species will dictate your productivity. Best to go with a guide and learn the areas and methods. Or you can read a lot and go pot luck. Saves a lot of time, experimentation and guess work to go with a local a couple times. Also Lake Erie is blessed with a super Walleye/Perch/Steelhead or Bass population that will blow your mind.
