Memorial Gardens on the SouthFork - utsaefisherman - 02-11-2009

Can anyone tell me how the fly action is around memorial gardens this time of year? I have fished other sections of the southfork and done ok. I was thinking of heading up this weekend maybe Sun? I will post and give a report if I can go.

not going to be much better than any other spot on the river. Wont be much pressure, small bead heads, scuds, zebra midges, should do the trick, and maybe midge clusters depending on temps. Good luck and leave a report please one om my fav. spots to fly fish

Remember to fish some stonefly nymphs. They are a big part of the food source in the winter. Try Pats rubber legs, Prince nymphs, tungsten teasers, and 20 inchers - sizes 8-14.
