Italy vs China - Panther Martin spinning lures - eccotecc - 02-15-2009
Does anyone know if there is a difference in the quality or action of Panther Martin lures made in Italy as opposed to those made in China?
I seem to only be able to finds lures made in China.

Hello and welcome to BFT,
I don't know for sure but would venture to say no. Panther Martin is a great lure. I don't know for sure but if I had to guess I would say they are identical and would further guess they are moving everything to China and the ones you see "Made in Italy" have just been sitting on the shelves longer (or maybe visa versa?).

They are using identical stamping dies and manufacturing process. That is the only way to keep the consistency of the quality.[cool]
